Who's the cast?

Now, who's going to be playing alongside Elliot Stabler? Let's get one thing straight, Christopher Meloni will be playing his iconic character once again. When it comes to what the show is going to be about, other than knowing it's based on organized crime, NBC hasn't released much information on the cast. But, we have a feeling old faces from other Law and Order shows will pop up along the way, as well as some fresh faces. You need a good blend of both!

What's the show about?

Remember the last time we saw Elliot Stabler in Law and Order: SVU? It was the end of season 12, and Stabler was apart of a deadly shoot-out involving a young girl who shot up the SVU department. After that, Stabler retired from the force. But after one decade, Stabler returns back to the force, leading the Organized Crime unit after experiencing a traumatic loss.

Here's a little sneak-peek of the synopsis. "The city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler will aim to find absolution and rebuild his life while leading an elite new task force that is taking apart the city's most powerful crime syndicates one by one." Oh, how suspenseful!

Will we see Stabler and Benson reunite?

We know this is the question you really want the answer to, as most of us have been waiting for the glorious reunion between our favorite characters. It looks like NBC is listening to the fans as there will be a reunion between Benson and Stabler. How do we know? Any spoilers to know about? Sadly, the cast and crew are keeping a tight lip on what actually happens in the new spin-off. But the odds are the spin-off will have many exciting twists and turns to keep fans on their toes. In a recent interview with the New York Post, Chris said, "Benson and Stabler are inextricably linked, locked and connected. I think there is truly and deeply a worthwhile, inherent drama in exploring that relationship and the complexity of how Stabler left — the unresolved emotions both characters feel and how the fans feel." Chris then continued: "How my character left was really unsatisfying, I think. It almost feels that we won't do one or two [crossover] episodes and move on our merry way."
